The 2026 edition of FIBO Arabia, the international fair dedicated to wellness fitness and health in the Middle East, has been canceled and rescheduled to October 6-8, 2027, still at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. The second edition of the event, initially scheduled from September 8 to 10, 2026, will return to Riyadh next year.
The decision of the organizers came at a time when Italian participation in the event had also been canceled, in conjunction with the worsening geopolitical situation and in light of the consequent evaluations of the companies involved. Assosport, together with Agenzia ICE and also thanks to the “Extraordinary measures to support exporting companies affected by the crisis in the Persian Gulf,” had planned a collective presence with 12 Italian companies in the sports and fitness sector. A project that, in the new circumstances, was not possible to realize in 2026, but remains of interest for Assosport and for the companies in the sector.
The goal for 2027 is therefore to propose the collective participation again and confirm the presence of Italian companies in Riyadh.
