A new phase is beginning, reinforcing Skylotec’s commitment to delivering top-tier solutions for climbing and mountaineering. The company has announced the full integration of Climbing Technology into the Skylotec brand. Starting mid-2025, Skylotec Outdoor will make its market debut—uniting two complementary entities under a single, strong, and recognizable identity.
Following Skylotec’s acquisition of Aludesign—the parent company of Climbing Technology—in 2021, the integration process now enters a new strategic phase. From mid-2025 onward, the launch of the Skylotec Outdoor segment aims to provide increasingly advanced and reliable solutions for professionals and vertical sports enthusiasts.
“Under one single Skylotec brand, each segment will strengthen the other—offering high-quality solutions for both workers at height and climbers across all disciplines. Designing climbing equipment is a demanding task. It requires experience, technical expertise, passion, and a deep focus on safety and performance. We’ve brought this to the sports sector since 2008, and even earlier in the professional sector. Uniting all our vertical solutions under one identity is the natural next step in our journey,” explains Kai Rinklake, ceo of Skylotec.
In a global market that is becoming increasingly competitive, synergy is the keyword. “We get you there” is Skylotec’s mission—supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals, whether in their work or outdoor pursuits.

Forged in the Alps
The slogan “Forged in the Alps” reflects a commitment to manufacturing excellence, user-centered innovation, and real-world expertise developed by mountain professionals. From a strategic standpoint, this integration reinforces Skylotec’s intention to maintain in-house production rooted in Europe. Significant investments have been made in the Italian facility to improve efficiency, increase production capacity, and prepare for long-term growth.
“Skylotec has established itself as a premium brand in the professional sector, and now aims to bring this level of quality into every field where height is both a challenge and a source of inspiration,” concludes Kai Rinklake. “For us, there’s no distinction between sport climbers and professional users—there are only people who share the same passion for vertical experiences. And we stand by them.”
Starting in 2026, the new Skylotec-branded outdoor products will be available at leading retailers and B2B channels, bringing cutting-edge gear to the market for unforgettable high-altitude adventures.
